Powerboat Level 1 – Introduction to Powerboating

We aim to provide a practical introduction to boat safety and handling.  The expected duration of the course is one day starting at 9 am and finishing at 5 pm.  A maximum of 3 students per course allowed.

Course Information

This course is a practical course with a short classroom session.

What to bring with you on the day

• Warm clothing
• Suitable footwear.
• A lifejacket in good condition, must conform to EN396, and have a minimum buoyancy of 150 newtons.  If you have foul weather clothing please bring it with you.
• A change of clothing.
• A packed lunch. However lunch arrangements are usually decided on the day of the course.
  

  Dry suits and buoyancy aids are hired out at a cost of £30 per day.  If required can you please let us know prior to the day of the course.
